Strength & Peace
Shirley Jen / Robin Dale copyright 2012

“When you are young and gazing out at the road of life ahead, you have dreams and fears of not realizing your dreams.  How fortunate I was that my father was able to show me the way.  I now pass on to my sons and daughter the foundational principle that I watched my father live by and have tested in my own life.  When love guides your motives and action, you will always walk in ‘strength and peace’.

A thousand dreams lie at my feet - From distant lands they call to me

The wind is whispering - I hold your destiny

Will I be ready for the part - How will I know it in my Heart

What if I fail to reach - What Heaven has for me

My father said you will know - When Heaven speaks just follow

And now I find my strength - In words He gave to me

Verse 1) My Sons one thing you should know - All paths are yours to follow

Verse 2) My daughter as the wind blows – All paths are yours to follow

Put all your hope in Love – And you will always

Walk in strength & peace

 (Vocal Bridge)
One Heart can make a special difference

To those you meet along the way

One bright Star shinning in the Heavens

Use all your strength to ease their pain

You have the remedy – You have a destiny

Don’t turn away from those in need

When Heaven calls – You must stand tall

And walk in Strength & Peace

Robin Hood  Lyrics copyright 2011 Robin Dale

In the days of the Sheriff of Nottingham

When the King was helping himself

He suddenly had to make a change of plans

With outlaws, thieves, and elves

‘Cause there’s a man by the name of Robin Hood

Who lives between the trees

On the mossy glen beside the forest stream

Fights for those in need

(chorus)

Come on Robin Hood

Bring on your band of men

Show us how to turn the world around

Fight for Freedom

Robin Hood, we’re gonna do it right

Let us in on the Master Plan

And we will rock with you tonight

(verse 2)

So when they come to take your daughters away

Take your crossbow from the shelf

Run from town into the evergreens

Far from the castle walls

Where there’s a man by the name of Robin Hood

Who lives between the trees

On the mossy glen beside the forest stream

Fights for those in need

Tears Falling Like Rain Lyrics copyright 2011 Robin Dale

So many lonely songs – Tell me where did we go wrong

Trying to make a world – Good for our children

I’ve had times when I had to much

Times I didn’t have enough
I’ve seen people scrape and crawl

Left with no dignity at all

I’ve seen people cheat and lie

Turn away as they pass their brother by

And just leave him on the side of the road

I’ve seen people full of greed and pride

Turn away and let their conscience die

Some people say there’s no love in this world

Tears falling like rain - So many hearts broken again

Oh but we can stop the pain - When we start caring……sharing……...giving……...loving

I think its time for the world to start again

End the lie that’s passed on for generations

Something ‘bout “money’s more important than friends”

I think its time to end the greed

Stop holding on to more than we need

Ignoring the pleas of mothers’

With nothing to feed their children

Why don’t we stand up and say “that’s enough”

“I’m not filling my life with all that stuff,

When I could be helping a brother or a sister

People it’s not just some kind of game

If you don’t change your path, you’re officially insane

You’ll be sorry,

When you don’t find love - In the eyes of your children
