Geir Fotland (left), 2nd son of Dr. Kristopher Fotland of Norway, and Robin Dale (right), 2nd son of Dr. Henry Donald Dale of Scotland, are invited to the Presidential Palace for discussions with the President's representative S.H.Chiao (center).  Geir's father and Robin's father were both Doctors at Mackay Memorial Hospital Taipei in 1950.  Read letter "Dear Mr. President" (below) for understanding of the project.
